i have looked at every bookstore in la crosse, mall of america, and madison, and i have still not found howl's moving castle. this is very depressing because it means that i'll have to go through amazon.com. i dislike amazon.com. don't ask me why because i don't know.

yesterday, there was a drug bust at work. sadly, i missed it. i only knew about it because the S.W.A.T team officer came to take the pharmacist's statement. then, not 20 minutes later, a man with a VERY nice car came and picked up $1,200 worth of Oxycontin. What is oxycontin? an opiate aka morpine. the generic is oxycodone, but this man refused generic. he only wanted brand name. why? because users will never buy generic off the street. brand only, because it has a little OX scored on the back and everyone can recognize it. and when you think about it, at about 30 dollars a pill, this guy made over 10,000 this month. some people don't make that in a year. so why was the swat team dealing with a 10 cent pot dealer when a hard core dealer just legally made off with 270 oxycontin tablets? our society sucks.

we ran out of plan B again. did something happen that I don't know about? or are all of the students just bored because they didn't bother to find a job and don't have classes? i give up.
